Is Chemistry Important for IIT-JEE ?

Chemistry has been proved out as the most scoring subjects for students in the JEE MAIN examination. The Chemistry Section of the JEE MAIN exam is the easiest of the all three sections (Physics, Math, Chemistry). Students can easily score in this section just by studying the important topics for JEE MAIN chemistry. So if you are good in Chemistry you can easily secure good marks in Jee Mains as well as in Jee Advanced...

The chemistry is divided into  3 sections Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. All of these sections are important but among all three the most important part is the Organic Chemistry. Organic Chemistry covers 50-60 % questions of the whole Chemistry Paper. The weightage of organic chemistry remains constant almost every year and is the highest of all the 3 sections..So, if you cover the Organic part then almost you are covering the 1/2th to 2/3th part of the Chemistry section..
